Friday Harbor House's Harbor View Restaurant Offers an Array of Culinary Delights
Friday Harbor House offers guests a sophisticated gourmet culinary experience on San Juan Island. Executive Chef Thomas Ward makes sure that every detail is attended to, from an extraordinary continental breakfast in the morning that includes freshly baked scones and the best homemade granola on the West Coast, to seasonal farm-fresh island fare and locally caught seafood for dinner. Dinner is served in the Harbor View Restaurant four nights a week, Thursday through Sunday and Wednesday nights during the summer months.
The Harbor View Restaurant, with sweeping views of San Juan Channel, is known throughout the Puget Sound region for its delicious array of culinary delights created daily using fish, mussels, oysters, meats, cheeses, and seasonal produce primarily from the San Juan Islands. We also have an excellent wine list to complement your meal.
What our guests have to say:
When asked which cuisine San Juan Island does best, Washington resident Katherine D. responded with,
“Fresh Northwest inspired cuisine. There were surprising, high-star restaurant meals to be found for discerning tastes. We had a dinner at Friday Harbor House (the Inn’s restaurant is Harbor View) that could rival a four to five star restaurant in Seattle.”
At CitySearch.com, food writer Kerry M. says,
“Tucked inside the Friday Harbor House hotel, this classy restaurant beckons with charm and fresh flavor. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the marina, especially compelling at sunset.”
